Well-executed exterior solutions that are reasonably priced and which can be tailored to your needs, or I can make your own ideas come to life.
The light fence is strong, gives light to your plants and eliminates fence shadow.

A sturdy garden gate with 150mm posts looks chunky and is very strong. Small details such as aligning the gate with your fence or jointing the gateposts into the fence make all the difference and look great.

A manual rolling gate saves garden space, can be opened and closed by a child and is stronger than a conventional swinging gate in extreme winds.

A bespoke shed is cheaper than you think and can be tailored to your work /storage needs with simple timber hooks for bicycles, workbenches and electrical connections for tumble driers or power tools.

These mascots are for your fence or the exterior of your house. You pick the subject. If you can make a line drawing of what you want, I’ll make it. You can paint the footballers in the colours of your favourite team.
Other sports figures or abstract shapes can be fabricated easily. I will fit these for you.

I can build all types of decks to meet your needs with hatches to allow access to drains ( a legal requirement that many people forget). All decks are properly fabricated with strong frames and the area under the deck is laid in aggregate. This deck is four years old and still looks good after a quick spring clean.

This must be the cheapest way to create a new room. Polycarbonate roof panels and a plywood floor with access to drains (legal requirement). The wooden windowsills finish the look.

This is a tall (2m), sloping screen for a terraced house. The owners wanted privacy from neighbours and protection from the wind for their plants. This economical timber screen is easily and quickly erected and doesn’t cost the Earth. The two panels nearest the gate are only one metre tall to comply with Belfast City Council regulation in relation to visibility of the pavement for the neighbour. The timber for the screen is treated for outdoor use so it can be painted or left unpainted to turn silver in about a year.

This fence was blown down in the January storms of 2024. To save money for the owner, I kept the original boards, dug out the old posts, which had broken, and replaced them with sturdier 150mm posts. I also replaced the rails. This fence is 14m long so keeping the original boards saved a lot of money. The fence is much stronger because the posts are stronger and painiting the old boards freshened the entire fence.
